Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox is a Scottish native singer. Her birth date was 25, December, 1954 in Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson, and Thomas Allison Lennox were her parents. Lennox went to Lennox's Royal Academy of Music, London in the 70s. She was a harpsichord student and flautist piano over three years. The budget of her was augmented by a stipend for students and part-time work. While in the Royal Academy Lennox was dissatisfied in her ability when compared with her peers and she pondered what alternative direction she would take. Lennox was a flute player in the 1976 group called Dragons Playground. The group broke up before they appeared on I.T.V's Talent program New Faces. She sang lead in The Tourists (a British popband) between 1977 and 1980. This is where she first got to know Dave Stewart with whom she will form her pop group Eurythmics. Lennox was working on her own first album Diva. It came out in 1993. It became a huge hit both critically and commercially. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth solo album was released in October 2014. The C.D. is a selection of Lennoxs favourite blues and soul jazz tunes from her upbringing. Lepidoptera was released by Lennox on May 19, 2019. The collection comprised of four songs that were improvised. The E.P. is the companion album to her art installation at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art called"Now, I'll let You go... It's also her first independently released album. Annie Lennox was born in 1954 on 25 December. She is an activist, philanthropist, and singer. The Tourists had a minor popularity in the latter part of the 1970s. Lennox as well as Dave Stewart, a fellow musician, proceeded to achieve international fame in 1990s when they formed the Eurythmics. Lennox began her solo career with her debut album Diva in 1992. It was the basis of several hit songs, including"Why" and "Walking on Broken Glass. Medusa is a studio album that features cover versions of popular songs such as No More I Love Yous and A Whiter Shade of Pale. She has six solo studio albums and one compilation album. |
