Maureen Denise McCormick is the daughter and youngest child of Richard McCormick. She was born August 5th 1956 in Woodland Hills California. Her father taught school while her mother was a domestic worker. Michael Dennis Kevin is her the third of her siblings. McCormick began singing and performing from a young age. When she was just six years old, older, she was crowned the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley pageant. Pat Domigan at Jack Wormser Agency approached her to ask her if she would like to enter the show business. Her first major role came during 1964, when she appeared in a TV commercial for Mattels baby doll, Baby Pattaburp. She did another commercial in 1964, for the Mattels Chatty Cathy toy and soon was chosen to play the lead role in Wind It up and It breaks, a production at La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch McCormick won an audition in 1969 from over more than 1200 children to become the youngest of three twin daughters in the TV series The Brady Bunch, starring Florence Henderson as a newlywed with Robert Reed. The show ran for five years. McCormick stated in her book from 2008 Heres the Story : Surviving Marcia Brady & Finding My True Voice she almost lost her virginity during the fifth season in the presence of Barry Williams, her co-star as well as her on-screen brother. He was just 19. She was just 16. The woman said it might have been possible, but we didn't have the proper time to do it.
